Upon opening one of its new branches in New York, First Republic wanted to promote its connection with the local New York arts community by painting this 4-story mural in view of the Highline, a popular pedestrian thoroughfare. I built the artwork featuring a photo of a dancer from a local dance company, and I also built the artwork for the signage on the adjacent wall. And I commissioned the painters and traveled onsite to help with the building logistics.

I was hired by the creative team for the Metallica Fan Club to head up the production of this magazine commemorating the 30th anniversary of the band. I was the project manager for a small creative group, gathering and organizing assets and managing schedules and deadlines. I also handled production layout, much of the color correction. and prepress.

I was hired by Chronicle Books to do the production layout for the famous Grumpy Cat calendar. I set the type, determined background colors and patterns, and built the calendar grid.

For this First Republic/Gradifi sales packet, I handled the production of all of the fliers and postcards, ensuring color-sensitive assets were consistent across each piece. I also designed some of the flyers and built the artwork for the packet folder.

I coordinated the production process and did the layout for the San Francisco Film Festival program guide for five consecutive years. This involved gathering and organizing all assets, color correcting photos, and laying out the content for these 208-page guides on a very tight schedule.

I built the mechanical files for this Popular Science book cover. I've built hundreds of mechanicals, but this one was particularly involved, as it included a detailed emboss and spot varnish over much of the imagery and type.

I managed the production and did the production layout of this book publisher's annual catalog. This involved gathering and organizing hundreds of images, building page grids, routing corrections, and establishing an efficient production workflow.
